Summary | 161: on Windows server, path to svn.exe is not allowed to have spaces
Description | My server is running Windows XP with Mantis 1.2.1 and Source plugin (VCS Basisintegration 0.16.1). When I configure the path to svn.exe, I can enter a path containing spaces: C:\Programme\CollabNet\Subversion Client No error is displayed by the plugin. However, if I use the plugin, I get an APPLICATION ERROR #0. When checking the apache error log, there is the following message: Der Befehl "C:\Programme\CollabNet\Subversion" ist entweder falsch geschrieben oder konnte nicht gefunden werden. To translate it, it says that the path "C:\Programme\CollabNet\Subversion" is not found. This is dues to the space at the end. I tried to put the path in "" in the source plugin configuration page, but this is not allowed, I get an error message from the plugin. I was spending hours to track down the issue! It would be nice, if either the plugin would support spaces in the path for svn.exe or that it will not allow to enter a path containing spaces at the source plugin configuration page.
Additional Information | I would go for the second solution (no spaces allowed), but an error is thrown!

Preferred solution IMO would be to add/use quoting or escaping for the shell command to allow spaces in the SVN path. Adding this to my task list. |
