Description

The fields on the WebSVN repository configuration settings screen include only brief and sometimes ambiguous instructions. More detailed information would be a big help. I detailed my own experiences deciphering the fields here:

Additional Information

Here are some suggestions for the repository configuration field captions:

Current: WebSVN URL (With trailing slash)
Suggestion: WebSVN home URL (With trailing slash)
Rationale: Not adequately specific. I first thought to enter the full WebSVN url to the repository.

Current: WebSVN Name (Repository directory)
Suggestion: WebSVN Repository Name
Rationale: Ambiguous. The entry here is not a directory name per se, since it is a custom string that does not necessarily match the underlying SVN repository URL.

Current: WebSVN Path (From repository root)
Suggestion: WebSVN Path (From repository root, include leading and trailing slashes)
Rationale: In my testing, it seems that both slashes are necessary for the WebSVN links (browse/file/diff) to work properly.

And a suggestion for the configuration screen field caption:

Current: Path to Subversion CLI
Suggestion: Path to Subversion CLI Directory
Rationale: Ambiguous. I first attempted to include the svn binary filename itself in the pathname.
